Our altar from the ritual this morning. The important thing to note is the masonry jar on the right. This is filled with our gratitudes. It’s nice to have so many things to be grateful for.

New phone (kinda)

So I’ve rommed my phone yet again. Even though I still have swype, i decided to try SwiftKey. I have to admit, I’m really liking this keyboard. So much so that I’m coming up with excuses to type. Like this blog.

Things are looking up. I’m really digging this law of attraction stuff. I’ve gotten it to work in small ways already. I’ve also been able to more firmly articulate what it is I want out of life.

There are four things that I’ve really been focusing on.
First are the things I want to do.
I want to co-found a Sudbury Valley School and have some, but not a lot of influence over it.
I also want to co-found a sustainable building /education company.

And then there are are the things that I want.

I want a beautiful home on summit (I know, redundant isn’t it?), and a Tesla roadster.

The main thing is to concentrate on the feeling of having these things.

That’s it for this lengthy post on the way to work 🙂

Solstice

Solstice is upon us.  I’ll later post a picture of what I got (I didn’t think to do that until *after* I was charging the camera), but for now, here is a list:

  • Two Books
  • Modern Warfare 2
  • 3200 Microsoft points. (For rockband)
  • New Socks (so comfy) and Darned Socks (also comfy)
  • picture for my office
  • $30 gift card to best buy
  • And the biggest is a present for both me and Chelsea:  Canon Rebel XS

So without further ado, here is a link to the first round of pics I took with the camera.  (Well the ones that weren’t culled.)

Linky

And here are the five pictures culled from the second set of pics I took.

Inti and Supay, checking to see if the other one has food.

Inti again.  Doesn’t he look a little intense there?  I think the clicking was freaking him out.  🙂

Expect more pictures soon.

Hopi Elders Speak.

This is The Hour…

“You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour.
And there are things to be considered:

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships? Are you in right relation?
Where is your water? Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community. Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!

There is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.
They will try to hold on to the shore.
They will feel they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.

Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river
Keep our eyes open and our heads above the water.
See who is in there with you
And celebrate.

At this time in history we are to take nothing personally.
Least of all, ourselves.
For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”
