“Campaigning on an insistent call for change, Obama outlasted former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in a historic race that sparked record turnout in primary after primary, yet exposed deep racial divisions within the party.”
This from Talking Points Memo.
I find it interesting that we can talk about the “deep racial divisions” but can’t be bothered to even consider the gender divisions. Villifying a woman for having the gall – The Gall – to run for president. It’s deeply, deeply sad.
Hello, another trike route:
So this route is in honor of Knit in Public day. I’m not a knitter but my wife is. (I spin. (And not just on my trike.))
I start at home and go down Rollins to West, basically, then to Stewart to Garth and the Library. I just caught the end of Chelsea’s time there, so I rode from there to the mall, via Ash. And then from the mall home via Fairview and some backstreets and Rollins again.
It was fun hanging out at the mall, I just wish I could have came up with more hooks for the game tomorrow, but I’m sure I’ll think of more as the game comes closer.
